About

Hi! I am a personality psychologist working as a Senior Scientist at the MUSEMPlab. I completed my studies at the University of Innsbruck, earning a PhD in Psychology as well as a BA in English and American Studies.

What I value most about my academic work is the opportunity to pursue my diverse interests. My research focuses on music psychology, particularly musical perception and music-evoked emotions, personality psychology, and test construction & assessment. I am also interested in the use of new technologies in psychological research and their impact on humans. In fall 2024, I completed a two-month research stay at the Institute for Computational Perception at JKU in Linz, where I worked on projects related to human-computer interaction and recommendation systems. Current collaboration partners include the Department of Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck, the Institute for Computational Perception at JKU Linz, and the TU Vienna.

In my free time, I enjoy music (of course!), various sports, experimenting with baking recipes, reading books, and cuddling with my cat. The Big-Five dimension I score highest is Openness for Experience.
