Although some people find their way into classical music naturally, others don’t. The idea of this talk is to use emotional experiences as something we all know and share, as a gateway into classical music, which many of us know less about. To this end, the talk provides a brief introduction to nine great composers from J.S. Bach to B. Bartok through the lens of nine types of emotion that music has been found to evoke.
