A new study by lab members Julia Vigl and Marcel Zentner finds that romantic partners resemble each other more strongly in their music preferences than in personality traits or personal values. Shared musical tastes may also be associated with higher relationship quality, suggesting that music taste can signal interpersonal compatibility.
